I tell people go with the set up that works for you. 😀 Next level racing sent me the Boeing military flight simulator chair almost 2 years ago and they just recently sent me the flight seat pro military Boeing version which our guy CrewDawg is going to be doing a review series on. Our guy Pooch bought the Sim fab seat from the flight Sim expo back in June and it works for him, but a lot of those commercial prebuilt set ups aren't beefy enough for true haptic feedback and force feedback in some areas where the joystick or pedals attach. The more you have underneath you the more rigid it becomes so that you get the force feedback. I'm sure all of them will be fine in the end.

I have been asking them for the last year if they were going to come out with a frame as well but never gotten a response. What I see between this frame and the Trak Racer once is the overly complicated structure (lots of small pieces here and there). I was wondering if you had experience with others. :) Monstertech is great but extremly expensive. I wonder what will be WW price point.

WW is not planning to market this chair. There engineers create them for flight simulator shows and for internal testing and I just got lucky, along with Bogey Dope at the show in Las Vegas. They provided us with a lot of gear and including the television and stand with the seat. It saved them from having to pay to ship them home too.

I would check out next level racing. They have a FT pro racing seat rig that is extruded aluminum and very beefy and adaptable but not for air Sims, just racing Sims.

Partially, most of the times it's because the MFD screen isn't exactly a square on windows. The screens are skewed to the side. The key thing I found out is when you orient the screens and windows first to portrait, you have to restart the computer then to get it to stay. It's most likely a windows limitation. Once I did that then I just orient them how I wanted them and then ran the WINWING SimAppPro software. One of the things that all of us are trying to get WW to do is to make it so that you don't have to exit out DCS and change which aircraft you're flying in the software before the MFD will work. Needless to say it's complicated at this time but once you figure it out, it becomes second nature.

I've been asking community managers and I get the standard over release more information when we can. I will write a personal letter to Mr. Grey tomorrow asking if we can get more frequent updates and news about the advertised modules. Especially the ones touted as coming out in the current year. 2024 and beyond is one thing but if there's a problem or delay, we just want information about it to keep us informed and connected with the people we're supporting. I will do this first thing tomorrow morning. I promise.

They realize that it's an issue it's just they don't want to get hopes up and then have something happen but I feel that regular information will actually be better than no information.

That and the bubble canopy would be awesome in VR.

Even gettin my cherry popped in Kuwait in the Red , relieving the Saratoga for a RAS . But as a Helo pilot in the USN I would love for the Pave & Sea & Black Hawks to be implemented. I also put 18 months in the Sea Dragon in Testimg. Now that is my all Time Fav ♨

@@AIRWARFAREGROUP You know the new Mike model of the Blackhawk in the US army is the first Blackhawk to have a tilt rotor head. The army has always stayed away from a tilt rotor head. Even though it's a little extra weight, they felt that it was more expensive, which it is but more expensive to maintain. At the 250 hour PM it's like anything else. But it gives you 40% more torque 30% more speed and when you have that combined you're able to lift more ! This is why the US Navy all their helos have a tilt rotor head. Including USMC helos all have tilt rotorhead except for US army unfortunately. I do know that the longbow Apache D model is supposed to have a tilt rotor head and I don't see it in the DCS world. I'm going to have to get some fact checks and send it to ED so they will implement that and that obfuscate the vrs that the Apache has a tendency to go into. Any rigid rotorhead? Unless you're holding 40 knots, we'll have a tendency to go into vrs with exception to a large rotor head. I believe the Apache rotorhead is too small for the weight and the one that they tested and got the numbers from had to tilt rotor head. Supposed to be able to cruise at 172 mph at 100 ft above sea level and 180 mph at Max. A- a. 10° will give you almost 200 mph. That is their shallow dive test. I'm 10K to 100 ft. I know I have the paperwork around here. I just got to find it. I had a lot of property in a large home and me and the wife decide to downsize due to my medical issues. @@AIRWARFAREGROUP The community BH I do have, & is rite on time with the fixed rotor head at 10° forward for more torque and speed rather than a tilt rotor Head. I take that Blackhawk out on a ride just for memory and sightseeing. Hopefully it'll come up with some armaments. I love that community Blackhawk! 👊😎🕊️❤️❤️❤️🕊️

Hey good point and I was totally unaware that snap views were saved in a mission file. But it makes sense as some of the default instant action missions have different views and I'm trying to help ED figure that out so that we can get this field of view cockpit issue solved for everybody. Thanks for pointing it out. I have no idea what to do with it and it probably saved my FOV settings for viper hornet in Apache

Same here. DCS simple AI models are getting better. Notice the leg movement on the gunner at the beginning? Not bad for a minor addition to the environment.

@@AIRWARFAREGROUP I did notice. Looks like he actually stepped over the gate before transitioning to the inside of the bed.

I like how he lifted his leg over his other leg and you could almost feel like there was a wheel-well there, but he had to step over. 😀

Did you get a buck kicker gamer plus or pro? All you have to do is plug in the USB cord that goes to your amplifier and then plug it in your computer start up the software and then the drop-down select butt kicker on the choices for your output. You'll see my video where I talk about the things that I had to do before I went into the individual settings.

Pro. When you say software are you talking about sim haptic or buttkickers software. When I use the usb I get no sound from my speakers . I got it to work though (buttkicker) by adjusting the wires going into the kicker. But the only way I get sound and the kicker is using the 3.5 mm Y cable.

My sound is independent of the buttkicker and I hear sound normally. My buttkicker amplifier is plugged into usb and set up automatically when launching DCS.

Somebody pointed out that they put my video on their website and didn't even even ask me or let me know. Yeah happy to connect like a lot of manufacturer software. There's always something better out there that they should just go ahead and buy.

I just tested it out. It is light years ahead of Hapticonnect. Which lost some of its Viper functionality lately.

If you don't need it, you don't need it. This is about replacing the original butt kicker software and since you don't have a butt kicker, I think you just clicked on the wrong question by mistake.

@AIRWARFAREGROUP OK then, Actually, let me rephrase the question: what does this software offer above a properly connected 2.1 or 5.1 sound system?

My question being, is if the original source file is sending the full audio spectrum then why are any of these software companies debated? Seems to me we're assessing which of these companies is manipulating the source code to what's most satisfactory to the listner which can't be anything but subjective.

I don't think that applies here as this uses endgame perimetry points, which are mapped to haptic feedback points, unrelated to the sound. There is an option to use it through sound quality for guys that don't have a USB haptic device however we don't do that here we use the actual USB option directly using game to limit. But I think if you google it or go to their website, they may have information on that for you. Our video specifically about butt kicker and sim haptic

Hey, do a trial for seven days and see how it works with sound because all of the guys in our group have haptic devices like butt, kicker or seat pads with amplifiers.

Tracers are staggered every so many rounds...so it was more like a hundred! LOL

Funny thing is that I was using the track replay to dial in the ButtKicker with Sim-Haptic software and each time I replayed the file, I had a different damage result. The first time they just shot out the engines and I hit the ground with the tail intact. Survived the impact but fought off the insurgents Rambo Style and stole an F-14 from the base next to the crash site and made it to an aircraft carrier on lake mead.

@@AIRWARFAREGROUP Yeah, I think that during the "original event" you didn't lose the tail, because there seems to be still some rudder authority . Replays behave sometimes a bit strange on this sort of events. Oh ... so that was you on the roof of the Stade de France during the Olympics! You could have brought a F-18 at least ... :P
